oh yeah... I'm in Japan!

Flight of Klein

Today's been lovely! I went into town to meet up with Kitty and Jess, two great mates from College. We bummed it round town for ages which was nice, then I went for a meal with some of my other mates this evening.
A very long day in all, but a lovely one ^-^ xxx

The Final Insult (8 days)

I can't convey how utterly awesome it is watching Naked Gun: From the files of Police Squad, Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear and now Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult all in (relatively) one sitting! ^___________________________^. I've spent a fair amount on last-minute TV Series and Films before I jet off to Japan; I want some amusing familiar films to keep me from getting homesick at all (I hope I don't get homesick, but y'never know... =/)

I ended up getting the Naked Gun Trilogy, Nightwatch & Daywatch double pack, Dodgeball, Umrao Jaan (though that was a bit earlier than the rest heh ^-^) aaaaaaaaaaaaaand GOODNESS GRACIOUS ME!! (complete collection) wheee!!!

We went fer a meal yesterday (kinda still today, although I am one of the people who believe the old day ends at 00:00am), which was absolutely lovely; a family affair haha! When we got home my sister's boyfriend gave me a cd with Aphex Twin and Squarepusher stuff on it!! friggin' awesome guy he is (I hope they have many happy years together ^-^) Woop!

Got a fair bit left to plan, but yeah heading up to Leeds today (10:25am-ish)

13days!

13 days! It's getting very close now. I still have lots to do before I go though. Tomorrow, I'm going to set up a new bank account (for monetary funds haha!!) and get a hair cut. I'm not sure what's happening on Friday, but I have a feeling I won't be doing much, unless I can get a hold of my very non-existant friends (oh they do exist, but getting a hold of them is far from easy). Weekend'll be for meals with grandparents and family, and Monday to Wednesday I should hopefully be in Leeds (to see a ヴェリー・ハンサム・マン and some awesome mates) so...yay! Haha!!

Today's been pretty useful :D, went into town with me dad and picked up some vacuum bags for me luggage! woop woop! Threatened to put the dog in one of them XDDDD!!! How amusing, to think of him splayed out in a bag (almost like a taxidermy dog....hee!) After pickin' em up, popped into HMV!! wheyy!! Gonna need to go out for a drink soon...i've been sober a bit too long haha!! Just so long as drinks aren't on the 29th of Sept. O_O xxx
